The lamp lighting function of 1^st year Bsc Nursing students was celebrated on 22.12.18. Sr. Pheba, Nursing superintendent of St.Gregorious Hospital, Parumala was the chief guest of the function. The lamp lighting ceremony recognizes the students entry into nursing profession. Programme began with the procession of new buds followed by the prayer song. The programme continued with the welcome address, inauguration and address by the dignitaries. Followed by that lamp lighting ceremony took place and the flame of new beginning was passed to the students by Dr. Sibin Joy Vayalil, Principal KVM CON , Prof. Mrs.S V Bhanu, Vice-Principal KVM CON, Mrs.Sapna M Kokkad, Principal KV School of Nursing and other HOD’S of various departments. After the lamp lighting function Christmas celebration was followed. The students of 3^rd year BSc and 2^nd year BSC Nursing were the organizers of programme. The programme ended with a national Anthem at 1pm.
